Lucky, Lucky White Horse Ding! Ding! Ding!

This is the story of a Lucky White Horse living on the far side of the West Maui Mountains in Hawaii. Rounding the sharp curve on a rainy Good Friday there he stood wet, white and wondering who would feed him next.

He was not hungry (although horses always say they are if asked). The Lucky White Horse was not Lucky either. He was wise.

His established territory was along side a fenceline in a corn field where the stalks were flattened. He stood there often, begging for food. Head over the rail - a look of forlorn. Who would feed him next?

I stopped. Offerred half an apple. Not bad for a seven second look my way.

Then the motherloade - 5 cars in a row. Each stopped in turn, in the rain. No need to be concerned about getting wet. The "provider" simply rolled down the window and reached out a long arm with the food in hand. Lucky White Horse knew what to do - stretch the neck and down the hatch.

What a gig! What a set-up! What horse IQ did it take for him to figure that out?
